Where did your business name and inspiration come from?

'Astro & Dill' was named after Astro the rabbit and Dill the guinea pig.

Astro required a low calcium diet due to his ongoing urinary issues, and the forage blend we created offered wonderful support and relief with a visible difference in Astro's condition.

Dill was a worried rescue guinea pig who loved our calming blend, which helped him settle into his new home. Both Astro and Dill have now sadly passed, so their legacy lives on to help other bunnies and piggies through this small business.

Is your forage fresh and natural?

Absolutely! Where possible, we hand dry our own forage depending on the season.

The rest of our ingredients are sourced from local and reliable suppliers.

Due to our forage being organic and some being sourced elsewhere, it is possible that on the odd occasion you may find tiny objects or debris if we miss them during packing. Please check any forage prior to feeding and we apologise if anything slips through the net! 

How long does your forage last?

Due to being fully dried, all of our forage can actually last for many months! To preserve optimum flavour, smell and colour, keep loose forage or their paper bags inside airtight containers and out of sunlight. Best before dates will be on the packaging.

What if there is an issue with my order or it hasn't arrived?

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any missing items, issues or your order has not turned up! We will do everything we can to rectify anything as soon as possible, and due to all our postage options having tracking it means we can trace your parcel. We will be sure to replace or refund if required - though this isn't something we come across often! 🤞
